Our story
Hi, I am Péter Márk Szabó, Ing., founder and CEO of Accounting Slovakia. Accounting is not just a job for me, it is my profession, my hobby, my life. I have published on the subject in 4 languages. I fell in love with finance in high school and went on to study at the most prestigious university in Slovakia.
I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics with a major in accounting and auditing. During my studies, I was already actively working in the profession: I had two jobs simultaneously, and I had already started my first company.
Accounting Slovakia in its current form was established in 2018. I wanted a client base that appreciated the added value in accounting and consulting. Who see accountants not as an unnecessary annoyance but as a collaborative partner and an integral part of the business.
We work as an office, not as an agency. All our clients are equally important, regardless of size, and we serve them to the highest standards. We don’t work with ever-changing freelance subcontractors, but with a close-knit, permanent, in-house team.
As a new client, you will first come into contact with me: I will personally take over your accounting and then apply your operations to our own processes. You will communicate and keep in touch with me until things are sorted out. After that, you’ll be assigned to the colleague who’s the best fit for you – but I’ll still know what’s happening with your company.
